Our first time in London!

Right before we left LAX airport ^^^. So, on the plane the pilot told us over the intercom that there were a lot of empty purple seats on the plane and that we would be able to move into one for 30 pounds per seat. The 2nd class seats were purple so we thought he was talking about those. There were two empty seats behind us and so after the seat belt sign was turned off we hopped back there. The TVs for the seats we had were not working. At the end of the trip when we were about to land, one of the people that worked on the plane came up to us and asked us for the money for the "purple" seats. Which were in the back of the plane. We had no idea!!!!!! 30 pounds each is almost $100! They let it slide! Thank God! Everything was smooth. The plane right went by fast and we were on the train before we knew it.

After we got settled in it was already dark so we took a walk to Camden Market and went to a place called The Worlds End where they actually had something both Joshua and I would love to eat! Can you believe it? Fish and Chips and spicy tofu stir fry. Below there is a picture of OUR table with an empty glass from someone ELSE. Apparently we are allowed to once we are finished with our beer go bring the glass to someone elses table.

The next morning after being knocked out for 14 hours and waking up at 11:11 on 11-11-11 might I add... we rode the train to central London and got ourselves some Starbucks the way it should be done! In a MUG!

Here are some photos of being in London today....

We met a "Christian" guy who was really right on until I told him to check out my dad's heavy metal band and then he told us that that was not of God and that my father had to repent and get out of it and that all of the people he has led to Christ didn't really meet Christ because God wasn't in it to begin with. Joshua and I couldn't believe it! God is SO much bigger than that guy was giving Him credit to be. God is everywhere and He certainly doesn't leave if someone plays and electric guitar and the drums!!

There were a bunch of officers out and we asked one of them what happened and he said in a very British accent...."There was a demonstration, that went a bit silly!" We were so stoked about his accent we both wanted to hug him!

more pictures of our day later.....I need sleep!
