Everly's Cousins

Everly has 7 cousins on Joshua's side of the family.

All who are 3 years old or under.

That makes for exciting birthdays and holiday's.

Our Nephew Jude's 1st Birthday

I can't believe Jude is already 1 year old.

I remember being in bed in our cabin in Silver City when we heard a knock on the door. It was late at night and It was a co-worker telling us we had an emergency phone call from our family.

I thought, "Oh no, who died?" I prayed as Joshua took his flashlight and walked down to the Silver City Store to take the phone call. A few minutes went by and my heart was pounding dreading to hear the bad news. I heard Joshua's foot steps on the front porch. Joshua opened the door and exclaimed his brother Matt called and said that he and Jenna were having another baby. I was relieved to know that no one in the family had died and that we were going to have another Niece or Nephew.

This little boy has a wonderful smile that lights up his whole face.

Our cousin Shauna who is OBVIOUSLY pregnant and Paige and Jude's Mama Jenna, who is NOT so obviously pregnant as well. Both on their 3rd baby.

Wine and Cheese Party

Getting ready to go out is a big event in our house. We turn on loud music and go through our clothes. Our house usually ends up a disaster while we end up looking neat and beautiful. We have this one mirror that is only big enough for one model at a time and sometimes the models get a little frisky about who gets a turn to stand in front of it first.

Easter Sunset in Porterville

I went through my pictures and found the tail end pictures of our Easter. The sun was setting beautifully and so we went outside to enjoy it together.

Once again upset......I think this poor babe is getting some teeth.

Easter Weekend 2013

We celebrate Easter because Jesus rose from the grave. It is not a religious thing or a made up thing. It is something that happened in REAL history with REAL people and yes, people who were not Christians witnessed this. There is no human to ever have impact on the world like Jesus. I am a follower of Christ because He is the only TRUTH I have ever found in this world. The Bible is the only religious book to be 100% accurate in History. It is the number one reliable source used by Archeologists to find sites. Over 25,000 historical finds have been found by using just the Bible to locate them.

The fact the Jesus is ALIVE is the basis for Christianity and without Him raising from the dead, Christianity would be false.

If you think I am crazy, just know that I used to think all of this was nonsense until I actually started to look into it and I was humbled to find a God who not only loved me but forgave me and even died for me so that I would live forever with Him. These facts radically changed my life. Here is the link if you are curious.

Evidence for the Resurrection of Christ

One of my favorite facts about Jesus raising from the dead is the fact that His followers died horrible horrific deaths because they would not deny Jesus. Jesus was crucified, buried dead and then appeared to over 500 people after raising from the dead.......

There are many people who die for what they believe in because it's what they believe. I don't know about you, but if I knew something was a lie I wouldn't die trying to defend it. These people LIVED in this time and witnessed Jesus die and rise again.
