We are the new owners of a Nikon D3100!!

We are still learning what this camera does but even before we have educated ourselves these pictures already look amazing. Can't wait to take pictures of England and Europe!!

The same day we came home with the camera was the same day that Mochi had a doctors appointment to get her ears flushed. She had a horrible ear infection.

anyways....

they had to drug her and it was pretty funny. She kept falling over. Poor thing.

Can you say WEIRD?

Joshua has been listening to this song A LOT the past few days. He plays it when we are getting ready for the day and then he even brings it into the car to listen to. I can't believe he likes it. I laugh every time he puts it on.
Josh - "Makes me feel like an ice cream man!"

Calamari Kiss

Today after thrift store shopping and having luck finding ANOTHER Members Only jacket for $3. We all got to go to Kabuki. I had the vegetable rolls and Joshua had Calamari and Salmon (yuck!!).

Painting Party

The Carlsens and the Sarrs bonded the past few days by painting the bathroom. We painted over old inside jokes that I have had written on the bathroom walls for years. Some of these "jokes" are jokes not worth remembering, so I am sure we were all stoked about covering them up with Polar Bear White and Aurora Orange. Joshua had a wonderful idea to remove the doors before we started painting....

Mom- "Isn't that going to be hard to do?"

Josh- "Nope, my door was never on the hinges growing up."

The result...

After all our hard work I decided to look through an old box. I had NO idea that my mood was about to change until I found my old Polly Pocket collection. I could barely breath I was so excited! Can't wait to play with them with my future daughters. Or Paige when she is old enough.

Los Angeles

It was a bit of a shock for Joshua and I to be shopping and walking around in LA. I was almost freaked out with how many people were there and how many people were so rude. This was one thing I loved so much about LA. Because people are so rude and prideful there, it really reminds me of how much humans REALLY do need Christ. You kind of get in a safe place when you are always around Christians and people who are not showing off their sin. People in LA flaunt it!

anyways...

to set that aside...

We went to Kenny Ortega's house to celebrate my dad's 63rd birthday.

Joshua and I with Kenny's famous dog "Manly" haha He was in High School Musical. I want him!!

His house was decorated for Halloween. I felt like I was back in Silver City, there were big black spiders all over his walls.

 Happy Birthday Dad!
