Everly's Baby Shower

My Mom threw me the most beautiful shower! She spent so much time working on it. She planned a bunch of fun games and made all the decorations herself! It was so pretty. The theme was NEST and the colors were brown and pink. My Grandma came down and helped my mom prep food and do all the cleaning. My Dad worked out in the yard and had the place looking spotless. The time and effort they put into this really blessed me. I can't thank them enough. It was so wonderful seeing all these ladies I have not seen in a while. I am so thankful for everyone that came. I was just SO blessed on that day. Thank you Mom! Enjoy these pictures.

My body was so swollen on the day of the shower due to the heat and due to the fact I was retaining water because (ok I admit it) I ate a bag of hot cheetos the night before. I was really not feeling well after that and haven't done it since!
My friend Cesilee made all these cupcakes to look like little nests. They were super yummy.
Julie Pasco made all these sandwiches and pinwheels, not to mention a bunch of other food. Such good food!

Smelling diapers to see which melted candy bar is inside.

All of us in line according to our due dates! :) Heather just had her baby girl this morning! I can't wait to meet little Hadley Lane! Only 13 days left until MY due date! I can't wait! Thanks to all of you who came to the shower! Everly has the cutest wardrobe now.

Our Apartment in Nipomo

This is the Sarr residence since Feburary 2012. I am sure most of you were a little bit curious if you are not from the Coast. The way the house is in these pictures is our recent change around. While Joshua was at work, I took 5 hours and rearranged the whole house with the help of a neighboor.....mostly by myself. We didn't have a place for Everly and I was having some major nesting needs. I couldn't wait any longer. Feel free to do a walk through of our place with these pictures!

Familiar Places

My Mom took me out to my favorite Vegan restaurant in Upland, The Loving Hut. It is always a treat and as I would like to try everything there, I always end up ordering the same thing because I don't want to miss out on my favorite meal. Garden Chow Mein. It is the best you will ever have. I top it with as much hot chili sauce as I can handle in one sitting. I eat it and sweat. As much as I love to travel and learn about new places, there is nothing like being in the town you grew up. I didn't realize how hard it would be to leave until I actually did move far away. I guess that's just how it has to be when you start living in other places. Even if I moved back to Rancho area I would miss where we are now. I miss Germany, the Mountains, Los Angeles, Visalia and Murrieta. That's just life. But I must say, It's really cool living in so many diverse places.

We had a few minutes before my Mom had to go back to work so we ended up dropping by my old Rock Climbing gym. Hangar 18. They added a few new additions to it. My heart was pounding. Hangar was a place I went to everyday for about 2 years. Believe it or not back then I could climb the rock wall with just my hands, that's right NO FEET! I will have to wait till the baby to try to reach that goal again.
I found that my maternity outfits will from now on be leggings and a cool top. It is the most comfortable because let me tell you, jeans don't fit anymore.

I really hope Everly will like rock climbing! I can't wait to start again.
